Mary Beth Bresch White

Enrollment and Community Liaison

Mary-Beth-1

Mary Beth joins Chrysalis House with a deep passion for the healthcare provided in mission-driven organizations and for the clients served. She is an innovative and dynamic professional with over 25 years of experience in health policy development and advocacy across various healthcare sectors at the federal level.

Mary Beth believes that everyone should have access to all types of healthcare services. She has represented national associations to advance their positions on these issues, which she finds rewarding. She has led fiscally responsible, cross-collaborative teams to effect change for physicians, medical students, nurses, and nonprofit healthcare organizations. By engaging with decision-makers and community members, Mary Beth has successfully raised the visibility and reputation of these organizations. She has also negotiated four applications to the federal government on behalf of an organization that certifies healthcare providers. Additionally, in 2018, she served as a member of The National Quality Partners™ (NQP) Opioid Stewardship Action Team.  The Team developed a playbook that offers concrete strategies and implementation examples for healthcare organizations and clinicians committed to effective pain management and opioid stewardship.

Mary Beth has been an active citizen in Annapolis for 26 years, volunteering with community schools and food banks. During the pandemic, she chose to focus her professional efforts on meeting the needs of the local community by working on projects for small businesses. In 2023, she joined the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office. In 2024, she became the Secretary to the Board of Directors at Chrysalis House. She joins the Chrysalis House staff to facilitate access to treatment and to strengthen community awareness of the services offered.
