Chrysalis House is one of a few residential recovery centers in the State of Maryland that allow women to bring their children with them, thereby removing a barrier to seeking treatment.
Women with children or women without children are eligible to participate in our unique program. Chrysalis House provides services at no cost to our clients and only accepts those with Medicaid insurance.

Who We Are
Chrysalis House is comprised of two treatment facilities; each focusing on a different level of care. Our recovery programs include Residential (3.3), Community Based Housing, Intensive Outpatient (2.1) and Outpatient Programs (1.0).
Chrysalis House Inc.
Maryland’s premiere residential recovery treatment facility for women with substance use and mental health disorders. Women (aged 18+) or women with children, live on-site, in a newly renovated recovery facility.
Chrysalis House Healthy Start
Community-based living for women (aged 18+) who are pregnant or with one child under the age of three.
Intensive Outpatient
and Outpatient Programs
Continue ongoing treatment with an Individualized Care Plan while seeking employment and independent living.
Supportive Housing
Group living for mothers and children while participating in an Intensive Outpatient Program.

Our holistic and therapeutic program helps women with substance use and mental health disorders along their recovery journey.
