Chrysalis House Healthy Start
Chrysalis House Healthy Start (CHHS) serves Maryland residents who are pregnant or with one child under the age of three, and who have a history of substance use and/or mental health disorders.
Located on the grounds of St. Ambrose Church in Baltimore’s Park Heights neighborhood, CHHS is supported by the Maryland Department of Health/Prevention and Health Promotion Administration (MDH/PHPA).

CHHS partners with each resident to help her access the resources and referrals needed to achieve these goals: have a safe and healthy pregnancy; maintain sobriety and improve her mental and physical health; develop successful parenting skills; and transition to become an independent productive member of her community.
CHHS provides safe and sober living in a healing environment, and supports a holistic approach and services to address all aspects of the woman’s personal goals and needs.
